A New World of Uncertainty

“In this new world of uncertainty, the one thing constant these last few months have been my nutrition from coach Ben from MTMM.

I started this journey over a year and a half ago when I found myself lost with my nutrition and performance. It wasn’t long after my first session with Ben that it was time to get to work. I hadn’t realized how little I knew about nutrition and how it fuelled my body.

The first few weeks on program are a real struggle. I definitely had some headaches dealing with eating real food and removing processed food and sugar from the body. Getting used to eating the right foods takes lots of work and time to get used to. Food prep is essential to stay on track each day and prevents massive amounts of cooking. Once I was dialled in I noticed massive changes. I was 37 and 197lbs when I started and after 6 weeks I was down to 183lbs which is the perfect weight for me being 5 10”. My energy levels were up and my endurance at the gym was better each and everyday. The gym was fun again and I felt that each session I was faster and stronger then the last.

This allowed me to be at peak performance and qualify for Can West Games as an individual intermediate athlete. The few months leading up for the games was an awesome experience and so thankful to have Ben along helping me with my nutrition. We worked hard to achieve my goal for competition and when the weekend arrived I knew we did everything I could to prepare. I loved how each meal for the competition weekend. Was thoroughly thought out and each meal was scheduled each day. It’s easy to forgot to eat while competing so Ben’s program was essential for my success that weekend. I was at my peak fitness that weekend and I can’t thank MTMM enough.

What I appreciate most about being with MTMM was the constant support each week with the weekly emails and zoom meetings. Being able to talk about each week of eating made it easy to stay on track. For anyone looking to get serious about leaning about nutrition MTMM is the answer. Thanks again for helping me the last couple of years and being apart of the MTMM family” - Graham Barlow
